-Led all Frito Lay design initiatives including physical product and digital experiences, brand building, DTC, and social media content.

-Delivered 3.5x volume of work over external agencies saving over $2.5M in 2020.

Director of Product Experience - Perioperative Solutions 2014 - 2016, Milwaukee, WI

-Led the User Experience team for software and digital product design experiences that included Design Research, Service Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Usability, Data Scientist, and Product Design experts.

-Responsible for technology and software solutions outcomes in the OR through the anesthesia modality.

-Visualized and led the HCD efforts creating the first cloud-based anesthesia analytics & OR Command Center for the solutions program at GEHC through IoT.

-Designed and built the first Digital Twin for anesthesia.

-Co-created with Directors, Practitioners, and C-Suite from Duke Medical, Kaiser Permanente, Hermann Memorial, Ochsner Medical, and NHS Salford.

-Achieved $2M in savings for Duke Medical and Kaiser Permanente in the first year of implementation of the system exceeding targets by 57% YOY.

-Programs included UX/UI, digital and analog medical device interface, data analytics, and predictive tools. that were cloud based.

Global Design Director, Air Care 2012 - 2014, Racine, WI

-Leader of the global design & innovation team for the SC Johnson Air Care brands including Glade.

-Direct leadership of 22 experts in the fields of UX, design research, experience design, packaging design, industrial design, and rapid prototyping.

-Member of the senior executive team that was defining the process and plan for achieving innovation maturity to our design capability.

-Managed a $3.3 MM design budget that was allocated for both internal and external resources.

-Directed global business that had a combined total of over 2000 sku’s per year.

-Developed a culture of mentorship with rewarding risk and developing professional and personal growth for everyone on the team.

Global Creative Director - 2003 - 2011 Los Angeles, CA

-Created and led the first in-house Design, Experience, & Innovation studio at Disney Consumer Products in the Kids Electronics and Toys category.

-Responsible for a multi disciplinary team of 24 people including Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Toy Design, Package Design, User Interface, and Technologists.

-Global Leadership included managing creative teams and projects in Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, and London.

-Extensive experience in manufacturing with 6-8 annual trips to factories in China.

-Responsible for 7 toy categories including kids’ electronics, games, wheels, crafts, activities, puzzles, and bikes.

-Overall global revenue was $1.3B with a 6% five-year CAGR.

-Created a new retail category of kid’s electronics with the kid's tv, digital music players, mobile phones, laptops and kid-safe laptops. The kid’s tv category grew from $0 to$250M in two years.

-Collaborated with marketing, sales, and retail partners.

-Created and led a skunkworks team called Toymorrow®,the “future of fun”, inventing toys that used technology and mobile platforms integrating digital and online play with traditional play patterns.

-Responsible for developing the play engine, UI for iPhone and iPad, the toys and the back-end development for commercialization.

-Launched the first kid’s desktop PC, the first KidSafe laptop in partnership with Asus, and the first Disney branded and designed mobile phones in UK, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Spain and Italy.

-Responsible for front-end research and ideation all the way to pre-production at the factory level in China.
